New Energy Labels
Dear consumer,
We would like to remind you that the new energy labels were implemented from March 2021, as part of a European Union regulation aimed at improving the energy efficiency of products and providing clearer information to consumers.
The new labels have been introduced in physical and online stores for five product groups: refrigeration appliances, such as refrigerators and freezers; washing machines and combination appliances; dishwashers; electronic displays, including televisions, monitors, and digital signage screens. From September 1, 2021, energy labels were also implemented for light sources, such as lamps.
The new labels feature a clearer energy efficiency scale, with class A divided into subcategories to provide a better distinction between products with higher and lower energy efficiency. In addition, the labels provide further information such as annual energy consumption and the product’s noise level.
It is important to remember that these new labels provide consumers with clearer and more accurate information about the energy efficiency of products, allowing them to make more informed choices and contribute to reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
Thank you for your attention, and we hope you found this information helpful.
